The combination of Attribute values, origin, class, and background define your character’s capabilities in the game. The personal details you create are what set your character apart from all other characters. Even within your class and origin, you have options to refine what your character is capable of doing.

This chapter defines some sets of rules to individualize your character: enhancements, heritages, runes, sutras and multiclassing.

Each of these features makes your character more unique, like different pieces of clothing that are chosen to create a look. However, unlike pieces of clothing, these features can hardly be changed later and some of them can only be chosen with the GM's permission.

Heritages are characteristics that you developed through traits inherited from your ancestors, common in your region or even that you found important to value.

Variant Heritages describe some changes you have received in your physiology, whether through blood inheritance or even other modifications

Enhancements are focuses of your development as a character, where you direct your efforts so that they become increasingly effective.

The Runes represent emanations of the world-forming powers, which resonate in each creature, whether passively (Runic Pulses) or even actively (Runes).

Runessences are alterations of these emanations, made by various powers present in the world that normally ask for something in return.

Several classes have certain techniques or features that are worked on and studied in order to improve and specialize.

In some cases, following a well-trodden path is not the answer, but rather taking different paths, finding what you think is best.
