Wall of Stone
Elemental (earth) 5th level
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 120 feet
Components: V, S, M (a small granite block)
Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes
A nonmagical wall of massive stone appears at a point you can see within the spell's range. It is 6 inches thick and is made up of 10 3-by-10-foot panels. Each panel must be contiguous with the other. Alternatively, you can create 3-by-20-foot panels that are just 3 inches thick.
If the wall passes through an occupied space when it appears, the creature there is pushed to one side of it (your choice). If the creature is about to be surrounded by it (or by the wall and other solid surface), it can make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, she uses her reaction to move at maximum speed so as not to be enclosed by the wall.
The wall can be any shape you like, although it doesn't take up the same space as a creature or object. It doesn't have to be vertical or rest on a solid foundation. However, it needs to blend in and be solidly supported by existing rocks. Thus, it is possible to use this spell to bridge a chasm or create a ramp.
If creating something larger than 20 feet in length, it is necessary to cut each panel in half to create supports. It is possible to make the wall have, in a rough way, battlements, parapets, etc.
Since it is a stone object, it can be damaged and therefore broken. Each panel has AC 15 and 30 hit points for every 1 inch of thickness. Reducing a panel to 0 hit points destroys it and may cause connected panels to collapse, at the GM's discretion.
If you maintain your concentration for the spell's duration, the wall becomes permanent and cannot be dispelled. Otherwise, it disappears at the end of the spell.
