A sphere of energy with variable coloring emerges from your finger when you point it at a point of your choice within the spell's range. After that, this energy condenses and expands with a sonic signature in an explosion of an element that you are able to manipulate. Each creature within a 20-foot radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 elemental damage based on the element used on a failure, or half damage on a success.
Each of the elements has a secondary effect that can be seen in the table “Effects for Spells by Type of Damage”, this table is found in Chapter 10: Spellcasting.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by expending mana points equal to a spell of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each spell level above 3rd. When cast as a spell of 5th level or higher, this spell's damage becomes magical.
