You conjure a skeletal, ghostly hand in the space occupied by a creature within the spell’s range. Make a ranged spell attack against the creature to strike it with the chill of a grave. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 necrotic damage and cannot regain hit points until the start of its next turn. Until then, the hand clings to the target.
