You acquire the services of a familiar, a spirit that takes the form of an animal of your choice: spider, dog, seahorse, snake, owl, crow, weasel, hawk, cat, lizard, bat, fish, octopus, mouse or frog. Appearing in an unoccupied space within range, the familiar has the same statistics as the chosen form, however it is a celestial, fey, or nether (your choice) rather than a beast.
