You open your arms and a blast of chronal energy is projected from your chest in the form of a beam of pearly white energy with bluish veins. Choose a target you can see within range of the spell, they must make a Wisdom save. On a failure, the target receives 10d8 chronal damage, loses 5 feet of speed and cannot regain hit points for the next minute.

Constructs only receive half the damage of this spell and are immune to the speed reduction.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equivalent to a spell of 8th level or higher, the chronal damage increases by 2d8 and you will not be able to recover hit points for another 1 minute for each spell level above 7th level.
