You conjure a burst of arcane energy at a point of your choice within the spell's range. Each creature in a 15-foot radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 3d6 energy damage and has its movement reduced by 15 feet until the end of its next turn. On a success, it takes half damage.
Each creature within a 5-foot radius sphere centered on the chosen point takes 2d6 additional energy damage and has its movement reduced by 20 feet instead of 15.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by expending mana points equal to a spell of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each spell level above 3rd. When cast as a spell of 5th level or higher, this spell's damage becomes runic.
