Components: V, S, M (a holy symbol)
Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes
You summon spirits to protect you. They wander around you at a distance of up to 15 feet for the spell's duration. The form of spirits is reflected in their character and their beliefs.
When you cast this spell, you may designate any number of creatures you can see to be unaffected by it. An affected creature has half speed in the area, and the first time the creature enters it during its turn, or starts its turn there, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 3d8 force damage. On a success, the creature takes half damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using mana points equal to a spell of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each level above 3rd level. When cast as a spell of 5th level or higher, the force damage becomes runic.
