You attempt to captivate a humanoid that you can see within the spell's range. It must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be Charmed for its duration. If you or creatures that are friendly to you are fighting the humanoid, it has advantage on the save.

While it is Charmed, there is a telepathic link between you as long as you are both in the same Realm of Existence. The telepathic link can be used to issue commands to the humanoid, as long as you are conscious (no action required), which it will do its best to obey. A simple generic course of action can be specified, such as "Attack that creature", "Run over here" or "Grab that object". If the humanoid completes the order and receives no further instructions from you, it will defend and self-preserve to the best of its ability.

You can use your action to take complete and precise control of the target. Until the end of your turn, the creature takes only the actions you choose and does nothing other than what it's allowed to do.

During this time, you can also make the creature use its reaction, but this requires you to use your reaction as well.

Each time the target takes damage, it makes a Wisdom saving throw against the spell. On a success, the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using mana points equivalent to a 6th-level spell, the duration is concentration, up to 10 minutes. When you cast this spell using mana points equal to a 7th-level spell, the duration is concentration, up to 1 hour. When you cast this spell using mana points equal to an 8th-level spell, the duration is concentration, up to 8 hours.
