Runic Advice
Runic Advice is a special page on the Runarcana RPG Wiki (subject to change at any time without prior notice) that aims to clarify mechanical or complex issues that arise. As they are resolved and clarified, they are published here.
These answers are Runarcana RPG's official positions on the questions presented. Due to updates, some of these questions may no longer exist or even receive changes that alter the functioning of an official answer.
But more important than the official position of the system is the position of the Game Master, he is the ultimate authority regarding the rules in his adventures, he has the power to define whether a rule will be applied in the official way or even if it will be applied in a house rule way.

Gauntlet
Gauntlets are simple weapons with special rules regarding fighting styles. By default, they are used in pairs and can be part of an armor. If only one is used, the GM has the final say on the changes that this implies.
Below are the rules and specifications for some fighting styles:
- Duelism. These cannot be used with the Duelism style, but can be part of an armor.
- Two-Handed Weapon Fighting. These count as unarmed attacks when used with a two-handed weapon, and can be used to make a normal melee attack.
- Two-Weapon Fighting. These can be used normally, either in pairs or with another weapon, and are considered light weapons for this style.
- Unarmed Combat. These do not count as weapons for the Unarmed Combat style, and can be used normally for that style.
Goodberry
With the Life Disciple feature of the Acolyte of the Rite of Stars "...whenever you use a spell to restore hit points to a target, that target additionally restores 2 + the spell level in hit points." When using the spell goodberry, which is 1st level, each fruit would heal 4 hit points (1 +3[ 2+ level 1])?
No, because the goodberry spell is not a healing spell on a target. The spell conjures a fruit that, when consumed, promotes healing of 1 life point. In Runarcana RPG, goodberry does not receive healing amplification benefits from the caster. Effects that amplify healing received, such as Diamond Pulse which promotes an additional value when a heal is received, work with goodberry.
Shadow Clone Sutra
For clarification regarding the Shadow Clone Sutra.
The clone does not receive benefits applied to you, whether they are present before, during or after its casting. For example, if when casting the Clone you are under the effect of the spell haste your clone will not receive this effect, the same goes for techniques that are in action or Sutras. If the Clone uses the spell, or some sutra that benefits it, you will not receive this benefit.
When created, the clone can carry a replica of a Bodhisattva weapon that you carry (if it is a thrown weapon, it replicates the amount you carry). These replica weapons do not carry special properties such as spells and enchantments and disappear along with the clone. For all intents and purposes, these weapons are normal weapons that disappear when the Clone disappears as well. Clones do not have Runic Flux or passive Rune properties. Clones can cast spells and use active Rune effects, consuming these resources from you.
The Clone cost is self-cumulative, this makes the second clone cost 2 more points, raising this cost to 4 and locking +2 Ki points and so on, making the use of multiple shadow clones very expensive.
