You summon a fiend with a challenge level of 6 or lower, which appears in an unoccupied space within your line of sight and within the spell’s range. The fiend disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.
It is friendly towards you and your companions for the duration of the spell. Roll its initiative, it will have its own turns. It obeys any verbal command given to it by the caster. If no command is given, it defends itself against hostile beings, but otherwise takes no action.
If your concentration is broken, the fiend does not disappear. Instead, you lose control of the fiend, which becomes hostile and may attack you and your companions. An out-of-control fiend cannot be dismissed and disappears 1 hour after being summoned.
