An animated object is a construct with AC, hit points, attacks, Strength, and Dexterity determined by its size. Its Constitution is 10, its Intelligence and Wisdom are 3, and its Charisma is 1. Its speed is 30 feet; if the object does not have legs or other appendages that it can use to get around, it has a flying speed of 30 feet and can float instead. If the object is securely attached to a surface or a larger object, such as a chain attached to a wall, its speed is 0. It has blindsight out to a 30-foot radius and is Blind beyond that distance. When the animated object drops to 0 hit points, it reverts to its original form and any remaining damage is carried over to its original object form.
If you command an object to attack, it makes a single melee attack against a creature within 5 feet of its range. It makes a slam attack with a bonus to attack and bashing damage determined by its size. The GM can determine that a specific object inflicts slashing or piercing damage based on the shape that object takes.

Spiritual (transmutation) 5th level
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 120 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
Objects come to life at your command. Choose up to ten nonmagical objects within the spell's range that aren't being used or carried. Medium sized targets count as two objects, Large sized targets count as four objects, and Huge sized targets count as eight objects. You cannot animate any object larger than Huge. Each target animates and becomes a creature under your control until the spell ends or until it is reduced to 0 hit points. All targets act at the end of their turn.
As a bonus action, you can mentally command any creature you create with this spell that is within 500 feet of your reach (if you control multiple creatures, you can command one or all of the creatures at once, issuing the same command for each creature). You decide what action the creature takes and where it moves during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as guarding a chamber or hallway. If you don't issue any commands, the creature will just defend itself against hostile creatures. Once the order is given, the creature will continue to follow it until the task is complete.
