Part 4 · Monsters & Creatures
Viginauts
Big, tough, strong, or sometimes quite agile, Viginauts are hired as bodyguards, or as watchers over specific areas when some chem-baron doesn’t want their business meddled with. Viginauts come armed with experimental chemtech weapons or whatever other enhancement might prove useful.

Chemical Field Coils. The Viginaut has two large coils on its back granting immunity to all damage types; these coils have AC 15 and 1 HP, and can only be destroyed by attack rolls made against them, or if the Viginaut takes Electric damage.
Characteristics
Overheated Chemtech Core. Upon dropping to half its maximum hit points (89) or less, the Viginaut enhances itself, causing its attacks to deal 5 additional damage of the same type as the attack. Additionally, if a damage roll results in a 1 or 2, it can reroll that die, but must keep the new result.
Attacks
Pneumatic Arms. Melee Weapon Attack, +6 to hit, 5 ft. reach, one target. On a hit, deals 15 (3d8+2) Bludgeoning damage.
Propelled Punch (recharge 5-6). The Viginaut advances in a straight line 30 feet long and 10 feet wide, damaging the area and turning it into difficult terrain. When it does, all creatures in that area must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 29 (4d12+3) Bludgeoning damage. On a success, the creature takes no damage.
Epic Actions
The Viginaut has 2 charges of epic actions, and can spend one of these charges to act. Only one action can be used at a time, at the end of another creature's turn. At the start of the Viginaut's turn, the number of charges returns to 2
The Viginaut can take an action and restore its reaction (if spent)
The Viginaut can repeat a saving throw against an effect affecting it
The Viginaut can spend all or the rest of its movement
Cost. When the Viginaut repeats its saving throw this way, it loses a number of hit points equal to its challenge rating.
Runes
Runic Pulse: Agate Pulse (1d4 Bludgeoning damage)
Runes: Immobile Body, 1 use.
