Part 4 · Monsters & Creatures
T-Hex
“FINALLY DONE! ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY METERS OF ROTATING POWER, HEXTECH METAL, AND PURE QUADRANIUM CELLULAR ENERGY OF SHEER DEVASTATION! My best work yet, I’d say.” – Heimerdinger’s lab notes, Vol. 8 The T-Hex is possibly the greatest Hextech masterpiece to ever exist in Runeterra, the fruit of Cecil B. Heimerdinger’s creativity and genius. Originally conceived as a Mecha, the project evolved with every iteration of Heimerdinger’s ideas, until it finally became a technological beast capable of acting independently.

Characteristics
Living Construct. The T-Hex is a semi-independent construct, not truly a living creature. The T-Hex is immune to mundane diseases and effects that force Sleep, and heals only half its health from healing spells and effects (except the Repair Damage spell, which heals it normally).
Metal Body. Due to its metallic mechanical structure, the T-Hex gains 300 additional maximum hit points.
Hex Reactor. The T-Hex has a category 6 Reactor in its body, and can use its Energy. The T-Hex's Reactor has 10 Energy points.
Attacks
Multiattack. The T-Hex can use an attack action to make 3 Tail attacks or 1 attack with another natural weapon.
Iron Tail. Melee Natural Weapon Attack, +13 to hit, hits all creatures in a 20-foot cone from the T-Hex. On a hit, deals 59 (8d12+7) Crushing damage.
Iron Bite. Melee Natural Weapon Attack, +13 to hit, 20 ft. reach, one target. On a hit, deals 59 (8d12+7) Incisive damage.
Hextech Machine Gun. Ranged Firearm Attack, +13 to hit, 60 ft. range, one target. On a hit, deals 20 (3d8+7) Runic damage. This attack has the Spread and Burst 9 properties.
T-Hex Advance (2 Energy points). The T-Hex uses its Energy to advance in a line, covering 30 feet of distance and stopping if it hits a Colossal-sized structure or creature. Each creature in the area covered must succeed on a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) Crushing damage + 55 (10d10) Runic damage and becoming Prone on a failure. On a success, the creature takes half that damage and doesn't become Prone.
Hexenergy Missiles (1+ Energy points). The T-Hex casts, in a non-magical way, the Magic Missiles spell at a level equal to the amount of Energy points spent. When cast this way, the spell takes the form of missiles made of energy.
Laser Beam (5 Energy points). The T-Hex emits a burst of energy in a line 30 feet long and 15 feet wide. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, taking 162 (25d12) Runic damage on a failure, or half that damage on a success.
Epic Actions
The T-Hex has 6 charges of epic actions, and can spend one of these charges to act. Only one action can be used at a time, at the end of another creature's turn. At the start of the T-Hex's turn, the number of charges returns to 6
The T-Hex can take an action and restore its reaction (if spent)
The T-Hex can spend all or the rest of its movement
The T-Hex can use 2 epic actions to make an additional attack with its reaction
The T-Hex can repeat a saving throw against an effect affecting it
Cost. When the T-Hex repeats its saving throw this way, it loses 17 hit points.
Equipment and Loot
After being defeated, a Techmaturge who uses the Hextech line can use the T-Hex's carcass as raw material to build a Mecha Apparatus or a Servo Apparatus, considerably reducing the cost. Additionally, when looted, the T-Hex has a 70% chance of having the crafting components, 20% of having the intact items, or 10% of them being too damaged for use, requiring repair, of the following items:
Hex Reactor. The T-Hex has 1 category 6 Reactor.
Machine Gun Parts. The T-Hex has a Hextech machine gun mounted on its arm. A Gunsmith can use parts from this item to craft a Hextech Automatic Shotgun, which deals Force damage and doesn't need Ammunition.
Runes
Runic Pulse: Pearl Pulse (Up to 3 target creatures gain 15 temporary hit points, +2 on attack rolls, and +4 on Damage)
Runes: Immovable Body, 4 uses. Unstoppable Force, 4 uses.
