Part 4 · Monsters & Creatures
Mountain Goat
The goats of Mount Targon are even more dangerous than others, since the gems in their horns release sharp fragments on impact.
Maybe it’s these creatures’ diet, maybe it’s some celestial whim, but the horns of these goats are even more dangerous than those of the others you find out there.
Peaceful, calm animals that enjoy climbing and spend much of the day chewing their cud. Were it not for the vivid, often pulsing coloration of their horns, you’d believe they were ordinary goats.
Their meat, however, has a slightly different flavor from that of ordinary goats, as does their milk.
Rewards
Some body parts of Mountain Goats can be collected after they’re defeated.
Item Crafting
Mountain Goat horns are deeply linked to the elemental magic of Targonian gems, functioning as a resonant material for that element, while the goat’s Coat can be used to craft cold-weather clothing.
- A creature with the Fashionista Craft can create 1 set of Clothes for a Medium-sized creature, 1 Sleeping Bag, or 1 pair of Snow Boots.
- Clothes made using a Mountain Goat’s coat grant advantage for dealing with Extreme Cold.
