Part 4 · Monsters & Creatures
Crimson Bloodletter
“Almost no one keeps them as pets, you know? A cut from those claws can open veins easily… but personally, I’m fine with that.” – Clara, Crimson Disciple
Thanks to Vladimir’s influence and the Crimson Circle, Noxus has several creatures altered through Hemomancy. The felines known as Crimson Bloodletters are examples of beasts affected by this magic, possessing claws capable of preventing their targets’ blood from clotting, causing their attacks to inflict Bleeding and bring slow deaths to their enemies.
Within the Crimson Circle there are still those who dare keep these creatures as pets, both to display their status and to threaten the opposition.
Rewards
Item Crafting
The materials obtained from a Crimson Bloodletter’s body still carry their hemomantic abilities, and can be used to craft special items:
- A Crimson Bloodletter’s Claws can be used by a creature with the Cutler Craft to craft weapons that deal Slashing damage. Upon hitting a creature with this weapon, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 10 + the Craft level used to make the weapon). On a failure, the creature takes 1d4 Bleeding.
