Sound
You crush a crystal in your hands, creating a vibrational barrier around yourself that moves with you. For the duration of the spell you gain the following features.
- Nonmagical projectiles targeting you are destroyed as soon as they come within 3 inches of you;
- Ranged attacks made with magical weapons have disadvantage to hit you and, if they hit, deal only half damage;
- When hit by a melee attack, the attacker must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the attacker takes 3d8 vibrational damage, or half as much on a success. If the attack was made with a nonmagical weapon, the weapon is destroyed and you take no damage at all. If the attack was made with a magical weapon, you take only half the damage;
- You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws; on a failure you take half damage, or no damage on a success;
- Your melee attacks deal an additional 3d8 vibrational damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to a 7th-level spell or higher, the vibrational damage increases by 1d8 for each spell level above 6th. When cast as a 7th-level spell or higher, the damage becomes disruptive.
