Snowball Barrage

You fire a snowball at a target within range of the spell. Make a ranged spell attack; on a hit, the target takes 2d8 cold damage. Every time you hit with a snowball, you can hurl a new snowball as part of the same action at a target within range of the spell. You can attack with a number of snowballs per turn equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

A target hit by more than one snowball must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, its speed is reduced by 5 feet until the end of the spell’s duration. If the target is hit by 3 or more snowballs, it becomes Restrained until the end of the spell’s duration.

You can fire more snowballs on each of your turns for the duration of the spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to a 3rd-level spell or higher, the cold damage increases by 1d8 for each spell level above 2nd. When cast as a 5th-level spell or higher, the cold damage becomes glacial.
