You touch the ground, freezing it in a 30-foot radius around you. The ground in the area is covered with slick ice, becoming difficult terrain. A creature that is in the area when the spell is cast, that starts its turn there, or that moves through it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature falls Prone and takes 4d6 cold damage.
Alternatively, you can touch a body of water, such as a river or lake. By doing so, you can freeze that surface to create a path across the water that is 60 feet long and 30 feet wide. Every 5-foot square can support 100 kg.
If a creature attempting to cross this ice trail exceeds that weight limit, the ice beneath the creature cracks and it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature falls into the water. On a success, it can move to a frozen surface or a spot of ground within 5 feet of it.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to a 4th-level spell or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 and the ice trail supports an additional 25 kg for each spell level above 3rd. When cast as a 5th-level spell or higher, this spell’s cold damage becomes glacial.
