When hit by an attack, you can manifest a magmatic shell over the struck area. You ignore half the damage taken, and if the attack was melee, the attacker must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the attacker takes 2d6 fire damage, or only half that on a success.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to a 2nd-level spell or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each spell level above 2nd. At 5th level, the fire damage becomes incinerating.
