Create True Ice

• This spell isn’t known or directly accessible to those with access to the Arctic mystery or element; it is a lost spell that might perhaps be found in extremely inaccessible or forgotten ruins of Freljord, since even Lissandra herself was never able to find it in her more than 8,000 years of existence. Even developing it is close to impossible without any contact with spirits of great power, such as Anivia.

This spell is performed as a ritual with a casting time of at least 7 days. Upon successfully completing this ritual, you are able to create an amount of true ice of no more than 1 cubic meter (1 m³) in the desired shape; its shape can’t be modified afterward.

For the duration of the Ritual, you must occupy yourself for 24 hours on each of the 7 days. Each day you must spend the amount of mana corresponding to the level of the spell cast and make a Spellcasting roll with a DC set by the spell’s level.

On a success, you consume the ingredients used, lose one Hit Die from your maximum hit points, and move closer to completion. On each failure, you lose one Hit Die from your maximum hit points, consume the ingredients used on that ritual day, and lose one day of the ritual, delaying its completion without losing the successes already obtained.

If you accumulate 3 failures, the ritual is interrupted, you gain 5 points of exhaustion, and you must wait at least one week before attempting the ritual again.

Upon accumulating 7 successes, you create an object of up to 1 cubic meter (1 m³) of true ice with the potency corresponding to the spell level used to create it, in the desired shape.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to an 8th-level spell or higher, the True Ice created has potency 2.
