Absorbed Decision

Choose a creature you can see within range of the spell. It must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 4d8 necrotic damage, and you create a bond between yourself and your target until the start of your next turn. If the target moves more than 30 feet away from you, the bond breaks. At the end of this duration, the target must repeat the saving throw; on a failure, the target takes 3d8 necrotic damage and becomes Restrained until the end of its next turn.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell by spending Mana points equal to a 4th-level spell or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 (both the initial and the later damage) for each spell level above 3rd.
