Collector’s Craft Formulas

Biologist

Dissect

Craft: Collector (Biologist)

DC:*

Component: Base Material and Craft Set

Value:*

You know how to dissect a creature, removing specific parts that can be used for a variety of purposes. Each time you receive this formula, you must choose a creature that you can dissect. When dissecting an animal you can perform three operations by default: collect 1 specific part quickly with DC +2, remove 1 or more specific parts in normal time without worrying about the rest with base DC, dissect completely collecting and storing all possible parts with DC -2. The value attached to each collected part has its value, the time and DC for each part can be checked in the Parts and Time table.

Natural 20. You can complete the collection in half the time.

When more than one part is dissected from a creature, the GM may discount the time based on the number of parts that will be removed from the total time required for each individual part.

Tanner

Leather tanning

Craft: Collector (Tanner)

DC:*

Component: Base Material and Craft Set

Value:*

The process of tanning leather involves removing the hide from a creature, and going through the processes required to make it suitable for use in crafting other items. Each time you receive this recipe, you must choose a creature that you can tan the hide from. Leather preparation involves different steps and time, based on the type of leather you want to obtain, as per the Leather table.

Natural 20. You can complete the collection in half the time.

Lumberjack

Wood cutting

Craft: Collector (Lumberjack)

DC:*

Component: Base Material and Craft Set

Value:*

Collecting and transporting wood, although it may seem like a simple activity, requires knowledge of where to find the desired wood, in the correct dimensions, making sure it is suitable, preparing the drop site to avoid loss of material, knowing how to cut it efficiently, transport it and prepare it for use in creating other items. Collecting wood requires a varying amount of time depending on the size or diameter of the tree in question. The base DC is 13 and increases according to the characteristics of the wood, such as density, rarity and even location. The commercialization of wood has a value based on the nobility and rarity of the wood and the quantity in cubic meters of it.

Natural 20. The amount of useful wood increases by 25% (along with the value).

Miner

Collect Minerals

Craft: Collector (Miner)

DC:*

Component: Craft Set

Value:*

Mineral collection is done by excavating an area using special tools depending on the terrain, as described in Chapter 8: Adventuring. Each time you choose this formula, you must choose an ore. Every 1 hour of mining, you make a Craft roll with a DC based on the type of ore, on a success, you collect an amount equal to that shown on the roll.Earnings/Hour column from the Ore Table and roll your Wealth die. On a failure, you collect only half of that amount and do not roll the Wealth die. On a critical failure, you lose your collection made that hour due to collapse, at the GM’s discretion; worse things can happen. If you mine an ore for which you do not have the formula, the value in the Gain/hour column is not multiplied by your proficiency and you do not roll the Wealth die.

Natural 20. You may roll the Wealth die twice and choose one of the results.
